Rob MacLean, Melissa Mullen
Dear Mr Keith

Rob MacLean is a graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada. He has acted professionally in the Maritimes and is a former Artistic Director of Theatre PEI. At Theatre PEI he directed and developed new plays, for example a full-length play celebrating the bi-centennial of the town of Tignish. For the past ten years he has lived on the family farm in Lewes where he and his wife, Melissa Mullen, are raising their family and growing blueberries. Both are presently adapting Sir Andrew Macphail’s memoir for a staged production in 2014.

Melissa Mullen has written two full-length plays. Her first play, Rough Waters, was produced by Neptune Theatre in Halifax and toured the Island with Theatre PEI. A graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada, she performed professionally for many years in Eastern Canada. She is a former member of Drill Queens Comedy and a founding member of Beyond the Bridge Theatre, with which she has co-produced and performed in Marion Bridge and most recently The Attic, The Pearls, and Three Fine Girls.
